The spirit of a just killed Afghani child — can’t tell the difference between BP or ExxonMobile. That same child’s spirit, also can’t differentiate between the Jihad of al Qaeda from the Jihad of McChystal and Petraeus.
The spirit of a long ago killed Iraqi child — doesn’t know Saddam from Bush, or Bush from Obama, or Obama from Clinton.
The just killed spirit of a kid in name any town in America — knows the difference between who puts food on the table, books in their hands and clothes on their backs…from those who say one thing and invade another.
A girl washing a Prius in a bikini — gets more mileage per sponge, than a girl washing a Ford F-350 in a nun’s habit…yet Malia and Sasha Obama are unable to differentiate between the dreams of their father, from the audacity of George Tenet.

A Draftless Empire
VFP has asked the question about the war economy and so far, only the analyst geeks in Maryland and Virginia have answered: “very well thank you.”
Chalmers Johnson had been telling us the uncomfortable truth about ourselves, for quite some time. He warned us about Bush, he warned us about empire and I believe he warned us that John Kerry was no Ralph Nader.
Judging by the actions of the better Bush that is Obama, you progressive’s might want to just crawl into Al Gore’s locked, heart shaped box…and stay there. Don’t come out, don’t Twitter, just stay in there and shut the fuck up.
The Tea Party was created, to give the Obama supporter at Democratic Underground something to keep busy with. The Teabanger is just a shiny trinket of take no action, while we await detailed instructions from Oprah, on how to live out what remains of our lives…before GE irradiates the rest of us.

Or Monsanto make more food. Or TSA increases their hunt for terrorists by intercourse. Or Boeing improves the Drone, or Bank of America forecloses on your school…if you know what I’m saying, if you know what I mean.

Place a Dale Earnhardt #3 sticker right next to your Obama Hope sticker, if you think China is somehow worse at human rights than your Homeland. Fly your POW/MIA flag even higher, if you have never heard of Obama’s Bradley Manning, or Spokane’s Mitchell and Jessen.
As with any good Empire…we’re never leaving Iraq or Afghanistan and you won’t realize there’s trouble in the Homeland, until a Pot SWAT Team kicks down your door and shoots your dog dead in front of your child…because Medical Marijuana makes too much sense and there is no military draft.

We the peasants, grow weary of the protection offered to us from the Vassals at Bank of America, the Pentagon and Homeland Security.
We may be Fiefs, but we’re not thief’s. We want our trillions of tax dollars back. With interest.
As the Lords grow more fearful, Bank of America pays no taxes, takes our bailouts, then steals our homes by force — for profit.
Teabanger’s want their money back, along with a birth certificate too! Sure they’re dumber than any shore in Jersey, but Trump didn’t make his money by screwing the Lords, he made it by screwing you and Ivana.
Perhaps if Donald had been screwing his hairstylist instead? 
We peasants that inhabit the revenue-producing properties of the Homeland…grow weary. When the Teabanger can rise up with the Neodem and the Neocon can join hands with the Progressive Democrat, followed by the unholy union of the Republican and a Green Partier…the Lords will feel our resistance and the Kings at Koch Industries will fall.

The latest pretend showdown between the two guilty parties, threatens to shut down our glorious government, because Republicans fear the uterus and clean air.
The Democrats? They fear being outed as war mongering torture supporters, who’d rather not be outed as the war mongering torture supporters that they are.
Of course being “outed” in the Homeland is only bad if you’re a gay Republican, or a liberal Teabanger with a conscience. For more information on this, ask Norm Dicks.
There’s a tiny bit of radioactive iodine-131 in Seattle and Portland’s rainwater. There’s a shit-load of human killing drugs, antibiotics and other death inducing goodies in your milk…so the radioactive rain does indeed seem harmless in comparison.
The pretend progressives who screamed for Bush’s impeachment, went home when the wars became theirs. When the bailouts became theirs, they watched more PBS. When Obama’s Vietghanistan showed no sign of ever ending, we attacked Libya and forgot about Iraq.
The evil Republican vs. the meek toasted, environment/union loving Democrats meme…is about as real as the difference between Rep. Norm Dicks and Osama bin Laden’s taint.
Don’t drink the milk, don’t bathe in the water, try not to breathe too deeply and if you own a uterus in the Homeland…hey!, at least you’re not a dead miner in Kentucky.
So what can be done? What or who can we rely on? I think the answer lies somewhere between American Idol and Arianna Huffington’s Twitters.

Good Thing the Oceans aren’t Somehow Connected
You know, it’s a damn good thing the oceans of the planet aren’t somehow connected. If the BP rich waters of the Gulf, or the runoff from Charlie Sheen’s yard ever met up with the newly — human killed waters of Japan…
We shouldn’t sweat the small stuff. When scientists prove that the earth is round, or that air currents blow, or that oceans intermingle…we’ll just change the channel and vote for a Neorepublicrat.
Besides, we know plenty. Saddam’s CIA WMD’s were real, Afghanistan trained the Saudi 9/11 pilots and low levels of radiation are sorta-like vitamin C.
It’s not like multiple exposures to radiation linger in our bodies…or add up over time. The minuscule amount of Japanese nuclear energy that has shown up in our milk, air and water, should concern you even less than what you think you know about our wars for Lockheed Martin. 
When Teabangers start screaming about the ka-trillions of tax dollars spent for the BushBama wars on Islam, marijuana and the lower classes…you’ll know someone shut off their access to the Disney Channel.
When progressive democrats start screaming about Guantanamo, torture and Obama’s once illegal/immoral Bush wars on everything…you’ll know that a glass of hot milk, will be our new FEMA Camps.
When the old-fashioned fiscal conservatives of yesterday, self-identify with the party of republican common sense murderers…you’ll know that these patriots don’t want to pay our troops. This happens because Obama is black and because the better Bush just has to be white, for that whole myth of America thing to work right.
It’s an ass load to chew on,’but’…it’s just the way things work.
So get on board, stay the course for change and be with us or against us. Because hope floats in radioactive oceans, just as well as it floats in the much maligned and far too expensive to maintain…Teabanger sewage treatment plants of Communist tomfoolery.
Our rusty cages are made out of cheap plastic and sold at Walmart. You’d think we’d have an easier time breaking free of them.

Alexie YMCA, the NAACP and Torture HQ
Benjamin Todd Jealous, president and CEO of the NAACP was in Spokane this weekend, he marched, he spoke and we’re still in Obama’s Vietghanistan.

The must stop on any Spokane visit, back in 1992 or so, was the Spokane YMCA. I call it the Sherman Alexie Y, because he was fast on the court, but the Lens could jump higher.
The Sherman Alexie Y is now just about gone. The property will be returned to its natural pre-1974 state…a huge rail yard, with leaking diesel fuel storage tanks added to ensure a polluted river and a new novel from Sherman.
Spokane Torture HQ
I think the Spokane Visitors Bureau would be upset with me, if I were to not mention the former site of Mitchel and Jessen’s torture HQ. I stopped by, neither the CIA, or either of the cowards two were any where to be found.
Interestingly enough, the site of the attempted MLK Day parade bombing back in January, is only about a block away.
Like the demise of Alexie YMCA, the relationship of the bomb bench and torture hq, to hope and change, are just metaphors that no one in Spokane media has bothered to mention.
