In Which I Connect the Patriot Act with Soundgarden

Posted in apathy, change, impeachment, journalism, media, News, Northwest Politics, politics, seattle, The Homeland, Washington State with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on July 29, 2011 by lens1

Connecting things to the Patriot Act is as easy as pretending to work as a Border Patrol agent, anywhere near Forks, Port Townsend and or Port Angeles Washington.  There are no terrorists there, just tourists who act like terrorists.  So you can see why Homeland Security is expanding its presence on the Olympic Peninsula — phonetics.  Auditory Phonetics to be somewhat precise.

Terrorist, tourist, tomato and or potatoe.  Strictly Dan Quayle speaking
of course.

The only news outlet on the entire Olympic Peninsula to have actually engaged in something akin to journalism; as it pertains to the Border Patrol, is the Seattle Weekly.  Sure the Seattle Weekly is nowhere near the Olympic Peninsula, but neither is Mexico, Yemen or Iraq.

For more on what The Weekly has dug up, go here.  For more on what the Seattle Weekly didn’t dig up, try searching the Google for Fresh Del Monte Produce, ICE, The GEO Group and then check out this article at the Washington Post.  Agent Christian Sanchez calls the Olympic Peninsula where the Border Patrol pretends to be doing things…”the black hole” where agents have “no purpose, no mission.”

No shit.

There’s a lot more to this story, but Rep. Norm Dicks would be much obliged if you just worried about other things.

Which brings us to the Patriot Act and Senator Ron Wyden.  Ron says that the Patriot Act as about 7 of us have come to know it, is much, much, waayy much worse than he can even tell us.  Because he’d then have to kill us before they kill him…Seattle would still be NBA free and Portland would not.  So why bother saying anything Ron?

I think Rep. Dicks had probably wanted us to worry about Boeing, Fukushima radiation or even the Mariners losing streak. But with all things being equal, Norm should probably just find a good attorney.

There’s still a small piece of the puzzle missing though.  A clue, a sign…maybe a word or two from a complete babbling idiot who isn’t related to the Palin’s.  Someone to connect the dots for us…a revelation or a poorly thought through brain fart perhaps?  Former President Bush says his apparent lack of reaction to the first news of the September 11 2001 attacks was a conscious decision to project an aura of calm
in a crisis.

That part where he says “a conscious decision”— Hilarious!  Dots connected, puzzle completed.  9/11, The Army Anthrax Attacks, debt ceilings, Patriot Acts and never-ending wars for your Social Security et al.

Soundgarden is at the Gorge.  Be there.  And be a tad bit more Vigilant.

The wreck of you, is the death of you all.

We Are the World…

Posted in activism, apathy, change, congress, journalism, media, music, News, The Homeland, Washington State Blogs with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on July 28, 2011 by lens1

We are the chil… Dammit, sorry about that.  I was just reminiscing about that time in the mid 80′s, when we youngsters saved the world and its children from hunger, and then we even toppled a couple of repressive regimes or three.  Like Grenada.

It was a magical time; unions were strong when they weren’t being busted, MTV played videos and Reagan’s diaper was still moist with his Star Wars Initiative.  It was a cute little turd that couldn’t float then…and it still won’t today.

It seems in a way, that the troubles with the Homeland of today, are not all that different from Reagan’s cute little turd of yesteryore. Today’s Homeland isn’t supposed to float, stay solvent, or even trickle down.  It’s just supposed to reek of old man poop and repressive regime.

Dennis Kucinich today went on the floor of the House and attempted to remind us, that not unlike Reagan’s diaper, Congress is full of shit and someone should probably do something about it.

I guess the only remaining unanswered questions would be:  Who’s kiss is on Boehner’s list?  Whose dreams are being made to come true, and whose are not? Are we out of touch and time? Why did the rich girl go so far? And whose idea was it to invent two who’s?

Yeah, good times in the Homeland.  But really man, who the fuck invited John Oates to the party?

Arsenio Hall Once Said It

Posted in activism, apathy, change, economy, environment, impeachment, journalism, media, News, politics, The Homeland, Washington State with tags , , , , , , , , on July 28, 2011 by lens1

Our nation is too big to fail the corporate state.  This inevitably leads to some type of police state, which if history is of any use to us…means we are destined to keep missing the point.

Since our moral compass is stuck on apathetic, many us of are not able to identify a fully armed al Qaeda terrorist from a Marijuana Eradication Team, or Pot-SWAT for lack of a better label.  We don’t get too worked up about Sarah Palin’s lack of a coherent gene pool, but we will sometimes riot over sports teams and or the premier block party of the Electric Daisy Carnival Experience.

The Democratic Party faithful are up in arms because the Teabagging Army of about 252 chubby infantrymen, have somehow taken over the Homeland.  How this happened with so many Democrats on the Hill and in the White House…is a pretend mystery to us all.

Coincidentally, that same Army of 252 ‘Teabagging chubby infantrymen‘, far out numbers the entire al Qaeda network of former
CIA freedom fighters.

I think it was Arsenio Hall that once said, “Hmmmmm”.

The Frontline is Everywhere

Some cigarettes are good for you and the environment.

Some wars are necessary to protect us from the brown-skinned, different religion practicing humans…who live in caves and mud huts.

Banks, bankers, law makers and the war machine widget makers…are better than you.  We deserve what it is the give us.

The War Powers Act is as fictional as the news and information being sold to you…by those who make cigarettes that are good for you and the environment.  The Patriot Act is as real as those who own your news and information.  From the editors of the NY Times, to the lowly producers at MSNBC…they’re only as liberal as Bank of America and Lockheed Martin allow them to be.

We don’t need Fox pretend news to be misinformed.  We’ve got Zev Chafets.

We don’t need livable wages or affordable food, because the Teabanger’s CEO deserves all the riches and gold.  Click that link, read the comments and try not to think.

Foreclosures, foreclosures…grab any ankle and follow my advise, just bend over and try to play nice.

“What happened to the War Powers Act” is the same as what happened to Cenk Uygur; MSNBC owns the message and now that message will be sold to you by Al Sharpton.

Some cigarettes are good for you and the environment…and besides, there are only so many ways that Mother Jones can possibly sell out.

There’ll definitely be no shelter here.

When Beavis Met Reality

Posted in apathy, change, congress, economy, journalism, media, News, politics, Puritanicalville, The Homeland, Washington State Blogs with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on July 26, 2011 by lens1

Reality for Beavis used to consist of watching videos, snacking and kicking his friend in the nuts.  Being that the Homeland is largely made up of snacking nut kickers…it should come as no surprise that peak stupid has already peaked, and has been replaced by the downward spiral of Kenny Chesney’s denials.

Reality can be a cold splash of water in ones face.  Reality can also appear in the form of a fully grown white man in a diaper, being spanked for his icky feelings about mom.   See most any Congressman.

Whichever reality we choose, the debt ceiling theater is still just a diversion from the war crimes, the Wall Street and the very, very, veryvery expensive wars against the planet, Islam, your email and maybe Iran.

The wars on Pakistan, Mexico, Yemen, Somalia, Vietghanistan, Libya, Iraq, healthy food, education, socialist-like mail delivery, marijuana, sewage treatment plants and libraries…are what those in “the business” like to call: ‘isn’t this somehow much worse than Clinton’s penis?

If Minnesota can take a few minutes per decade to stop snacking and kicking their friends in the nuts…just long enough to ponder the expense of never-ending war, why can’t a few more of us just walk into Congress and shut the whole retarded thing down?

The answer?  Gas costs too much and snacking while kicking your buddy in the nuts…is pretty much the only thing God invented us for.

*Glenn Greenwald-like update*, better watch the truthiness in the video quickly…before Viacom attacks us with Anthrax or something.

How will the Border Patrol protect us from the blue-eyed, white-skinned while Christian extremist?

Obviously, we’ve already lost.

Thanks Napolitano’s Homeland.  Secretary Chertoff would never have let things get so…how do you say in your country?  Mind numbingly transparent?

Hashtagging Anarchy

Posted in activism, apathy, change, economy, journalism, media, News, politics, The Homeland, Washington State Blogs with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , on July 24, 2011 by lens1

So I hear from some of my good, good friends at the DNC…that #hashtagging your frustrations out upon the Twitter-verse, is now almost as effective as a threatened ILWU shutdown of the Homeland’s ports.  Because our drones are not being flown by longshoreman pilots?

How coincidentally convenient!

Not only do we not have to march on the Pentagon, Boeing or any other ‘fascist regimey stuff‘…now we can just hashtag our displeasure with said fascist regimey stuff on the internets, and call it a day!

#fuckyouwashington

It’s like standing at the backdoor to Heaven, pondering eternal peace, happiness and free cable…only to find out that Dan Savage did indeed hold the keys to the kingdom.

Anarchy abounds.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to tell my barista about that time I held a sign and marched around the block for peace, justice and cheaper gas.

Black Lulz Rain

The Homeland doesn’t get funny.  It doesn’t get irony and it doesn’t get justice…unless it’s dishing justice out in the form of Anthrax, foreclosure and war.

Anonymous gets the funny.  They get irony and they understand justice.  As an added bonus…they have yet to attack us with Anthrax, foreclosure or endless wars for Boeing.

Black Lulz Rain everybody!

First Lady Gets Things Done

Posted in apathy, change, economy, hope, media, News, The Homeland, Washington State Blogs with tags , , , , , , , , , , on July 21, 2011 by lens1

Michele Obama has gone where Nancy Reagan, Laura Bush, Babs Bush and Hillary dared not; she actually accomplished something.

The first lady has gotten Wal-Mart, Supervalu, Walgreen’s and other regional grocers, to start adding fresh foods to the food deserts of the Homeland.  More veggies, less frozen, less fried but not necessarily less GMO Frankenfoods.

Baby steps are better than no steps.

Good on Michelle.

Now if only the first lady would take an interest in other pressing matters such as, the wars against Islam, Marijuana, Mexican’s and common sense.  Maybe those Army Anthrax Attacks, some war crimes trials, or even the Wall Street Jihad against us…might strike her fancy?

The trillions of dollars for wars and spying on you could be reduced…if only Michelle cared.

Some Michelle interest in the 16 trillion-dollar secret loans to billionaires, instead of healthcare, jobs or schools, might just land many a corporate overlord and congress-human in a GEO Corporation prison…if only Michelle cared.

Evidently Michelle, the Homeland has a rather substantial Anthrax/war crimes problem?  There’s mention of it here, over here, again right here, oh look here’s another! and sure!, why not one more!

I’d think your husband would have some explaining to do…to you and the girls…but then again, Casey Anthony is free.

Hey!?  Maybe Casey could move next door to Bush, Rumsfeld, Cheney or Condi?  John Yoo could mow her grass and Karl Rove could get her elected as the next president of Texas!
