WSU, Bees and a Spodi Party!
Drunken spodi parties aside, WSU researchers have narrowed down the two possible culprits in the mysterious honey bee killings, that recently wiped out 80 percent of Western Washington bee colonies.
WSU professor of entomology Steve Sheppard, blames the dirty liberals and the University of Washington for the death of the bees.
Alright…Steve didn’t say that. He did find that a microscopic pathogen and pesticides were more than likely to blame. Go here for more. Quite the dilemma. Agriculture needs bees. Bees apparently don’t like insecticides, herbicides, miticides and fungicides. Go figure…
So far the solution has been to use mega-doses of the antibiotic fumagillin which increased the pathogen levels. One bee wrangler had this to say, “We’re throwing antibiotics on them not knowing whether it’s doing any good.”
Will big Ag have to slow down it’s use of insecticides, herbicides, miticides and fungicides to help the bees? Not if any self respecting lobbyists have anything to say about it.
Will dumping antibiotics on the colonies work? I sure as hell don’t know, but do try asking Husky football fans for some help…they’ve really got nothing to look forward to anyway.
APA Says You Can’t Pray Away the Gay
In breaking psycho news, the American Psychological Association says you cannot turn a gay human straight, by using reverso sexo magico therapy on them. The APA also says that religious and secular therapists should all just get along, because the gay is here to stay. Besides, Jesus is too busy killing Muslims right now to care.
Well that’s strange? There was no mention of the APA’s stance on psychologist torture, Black Sites, Gitmo, the CIA or the Cowards of Spokane County? That is so gay.
In other news you’ll want to ignore, because you are being told that health care change will kill you…Erik Prince another Bush Christian Crusader, is in a bit more trouble. Seems when Blackwater was not busy praying, and collecting an ass load of your money to kill Iraqi civilians, while praying… Eric and his disciples were busy threatening former employees, praying some more, then allegedly murdering former disciples who went and grew consciences. Followed of course by more praying, and sex at the C Street house with the Family.
Who says religion has to be all grace, mercy and forgiveness?

Pretend Congressman Outrage and or Concern #2
Today’s words of concern come to us from Norm Dicks. Mr Dicks, who will find a way to pay for any war and or war machine building corporation like Boeing, wants us to know that Norm cares about the salmon. Because Norm is concerned.
Norm wants his colleagues to know, that in addition to his concern, the orca could soon go the way of the salmon. That is to say…there will be no more wild salmon and or orca, which has got to be fantastic news for us humans!
Norm had plenty to say about the plight of these once mighty fish and the fish eating orca. None of it really matters though. Because Norm’s concern means nothing.
What does matter, is what Norm does not mention.
Norm did not mention his role in creating the Taliban. Norm spoke no words of concern about what remains of the first nations, who still depend on the almost non-existent salmon. Norm did not mention any concern related to the fact that the Duwamish waterway, Hood Canal and the entire Puget Sound, are some of the most polluted waters in America…populated by some of Norm’s biggest contributing polluters, like Boeing and the Navy. Norm is not concerned about his support for war and the profits made. Norm failed to mention the FISA Amendments Act or your U.S. Army spying on American civilians. Norm is in the Democratic majority, that refuses to do, what we put them there to do.
Imagine if salmon, orca or clean water could put money in Norms pocket, create jobs and or kill for Jesus. Concern would magically become…action.

Today, Maria Cantwell tells us she is extremely disappointed with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s decision to move its Marine Operations Center from Lake Union, WA to Newport, OR.
Maria had this to say, “I am extremely disappointed by NOAA’s announcement today that it intends to relocate its Marine Operations Center to Newport, Oregon, and intend to fight it.” Hey thanks for sticking to the script Maria!
Maria also used words like deeply concerned, American taxpayer, dollars, NOAA employees and scientific mission.
Maria did not mention the trillion dollars and counting, spent on fake wars. There was no mention of prison for the Bush Administration. Obama’s continued use of the NSA, CIA, DIA, FBI, OSI, DEA, DHS or OPP (are you down with OPP?) to spy on you and your uncle with the bad teeth for crimes against the Homeland?
Nope. Nothin, nada.
Thank you Maria and the Democratic majority of which you belong to, for your continued pretend outrage and your lack of courage and or balls.
