Kindle Salmon

Sherman Alexie was not raised on fresh Columbia River
salmon.  His used books contained words written on trees.

The Grand Coulee Dam killed the salmon and the Columbia.
The books drowned in the “Amazon”
blocked on their way back to sea.

There were no Banks of America in Wellpinit, Washington.
There are no Banks of America at Pine Ridge or Wounded Knee.
They’re not paying BofA fees.

Genocide. Salmon.
Kindles and Indians.

Who are the conquered ones?

How About a Freedom from Canadians Fence!

When too many of us FEMA Camp Fodder start figuring “things” out, those who still have a retirement and a health care plan at Homeland Security…start getting nervous.

This is why we still have the Patriot Act.

This is also why the shallow end of the gene pool still believes that Rep. Norm Dicks – is a liberal Democrat.

Think shallow end of the gene pool.
Then think Patriot Act.
Or just think.

While millions of us shout at each other via Twitter and Facebook about God, football, gay sex and the illegal humans who come here with your marijuana…Canada is still wide open.

Yes Canada.

The Great White North of terror.
The harbingers of doom, Celine Dion and Red Green.

Homeland Security, via their whore in Rep. Dennis Rehberg, want to open up National Parks and other wilderness areas to the brain trusts that ‘bought you’ Project 28…along with 100 billion other illusions of grandeur per year.

Yes.  Fence Canada off.  I hear it’s right next door to AfPakistan!

A few more of us could have joined in when we were trying to impeach Bush.  But you know how it goes…the Democrats take control of Congress, then we elect a liberal Kenyan-Hawaiian? and bam!!  Never ending Liberal Drone Wars and a Wall Street Jihad for all!

There are some Longshoremen trying to tell you
something
in Longview, Washington.

There are some people in Port Angeles, Washington who are also
trying to tell us something.

There are some people in NY on Wall Street, in Boston, Chicago and L.A. who are trying to tell us something.

Freedom Fries weren’t free and neither were the Army Anthrax Attacks.

It was all self chosen.

Chump Change

Posted in activism, apathy, change, elections, journalism, media, News, politics, The Homeland, Washington State Blogs with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on September 27, 2011 by lens1

All the kings defense contractors and all the kings banks
couldn’t do the Humpty Dance
even when they had the chance.

Now there’s an adopted Big Brother.
She scans your Gmail for terror.

Watch as the Border Patrol hunts in Spanish
for even just one
Pashto speaker.

If only!  Only if!
Had the Democrats won control of Congress
the Bush would be imprisoned
the Nader would be forgiven.

Only if and if only we the Patriot Acted
could forget about the 2000 – add a 7.

Chump change.  Super bon-bon.  A pet name for Norm Dicks.

Keyword Searches Validate My Thinking

Posted in activism, apathy, change, journalism, media, News, politics, Puritanicalville, seattle, The Homeland, Washington State Blogs with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on September 26, 2011 by lens1

As I am what I am, I sometimes enjoy adding keywords to posts that have nothing to do with said posts.  I’ll toss in a “Jael Phelps hot” here, or a “Sarah Palin nipples” there…and maybe even a “GOP’s trickled-down fascism that the Democrats allow” – elsewhere.

Being the puritanical freedom loving nation that we are, you’d think I’d have far less traffic than that of the Hot College Girls of The Big 12 Conference.  And do I!!

This past week at the Lens, “Occupy Wall Street” was not being searched for often.  ‘Sarah Palin nude‘, ‘Ed Chigliak‘ and ‘Alfreda Frances Bikowsky‘, were however -  quite popular with the Google/CJIS searching crowd.

Either my sense of humor when keywording posts is finally getting noticed…or the war on education was actually won back in 1992.

I think both scenarios may in fact be true.

This weeks Ed Chigliak searches must have originated from Darren E. Burrows location, but for the record…Ed Chigliak is probably the most intelligent pretend person with a message, to have been searched for here in quite some time.

The Sarah Palin’s nude nipples and Obama’s Alfreda Frances Bikowsky searches, on the other hand…are far too popular with the geeks in charge.

You’d think the geeks at the Seattle Fusion Center and back in Clarksburg, West Virginia, would have more important things to be doing with our billions of tax dollars.

For example, why not track down that girl in the 8th grade that kept telling you to leave her alone?

Yes the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information System (153.31.113.20) is indeed a frequent visitor to my ramblings.  When we add in the various visits from DHS, the Tacoma PD and many a guilty Army Anthrax Attacker…I think that they know, that we know, that Ed Chigliak and we the patriot acted, are on to something.

Happy Monday Dr. Fleischman!!

Nevermind

Posted in activism, apathy, change, congress, journalism, media, News, Northwest Politics, olympia, politics, Spokane, The Homeland, Washington State with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on September 23, 2011 by lens1

Twenty years ago, a few of us had just gotten out of the military after our glorious victory!…over the pretend ‘Kuwaiti incubator baby killers‘ of Iraq.

The mission was accomplished, and we were ready for new lives and shit loads of beer, because the beer would help us ignore the Gulf War Syndrome for another 20 years or so.

At some point, Clinton became President and all of our guns were
taken from us.

Upon the completion of the weapons-free Clinton era, I awoke to that brave new world of AL Gore’s lockbox, rigged elections and the end of cheap beer…all of which would be blamed on Ralph Nader.

Pretend elections, cheap beer, no guns available to us – what could possibly occur to make it any worse?

Eleven years later, we’re still fighting pretend evildoers, Obama is the much, much, far and away better Bush…and the only ones who appear to be pleased are Israel, British Petroleum and name a defense/”intelligence” contractor.

Huh. Weird.

In Washington State, we’re facing yet another shocking budget shortfall of about $2 billion dollars.  Schools, illegal humans and Walmart shoppers are sure to suffer.

Teabaggers and their frightened counterparts known as the Democrats…will certainly point out really expensive poop factories, poor folk handouts in the form of food and health care, as well as the aforementioned loss of our guns – as proof, that Obama is somehow the lesser Bush.

As the class wars continue to shit upon the millionaires of the Homeland, I find some solace in the fact that a reporter will sometimes sneak an article like this one…into the conservatively owned, conservative newspapers of the Homeland, like Spokane…where cop killers are hated, and the killer cops walk as free as Mitchel and Jessen.

I used to think we were smart enough to understand that when we spend trillions, upon trillions, and maybe even trillions more of the trillions of dollars spent…to fight pretend wars against pretend enemies, schools, jobs and marijuana…that somehow, those trillions, upon trillions of dollars spent – might somehow maybe, adversely affect our state budgets.

Well…it’s been twenty years and then some, so, Nevermind.

Just Like the X Factor

Posted in activism, apathy, change, economy, impeachment, journalism, News, politics, The Homeland, torture, Washington State Blogs with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on September 22, 2011 by lens1

Just like The X Factor…we’ve seen this shit before.

Well, not all of us.  I skipped the X Factor, and was hoping and waiting and watching – for a Corporate Supreme Court stay…that could have stayed what we knew was going to happen anyway.

Like Iraq before Libya, and Afghanistan before Iraq, which was before Pakistan, Somalia, and Yemen, but not Mexico, Mississippi – Chile, Central America or Pine Ridge…we’ve been killing brown and black-skinned humans for more than few decades now.

My poor white-trash brothers and sisters?  Sometimes they kill us too.  For if our blue tarps, pledge of allegiances and the Army Anthrax Attacks don’t keep us in line…there’s always closing our shitty schools, Pot SWAT Teams and CIA criminals named Alfreda Frances Bikowsky - to ensure that we do indeed eat our sugar.

Piece of the Peace Day

Posted in activism, apathy, change, economy, impeachment, News, politics, The Homeland, torture, Washington State with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on September 21, 2011 by lens1

Today is the International Day of Peace.
I’d like to dedicate this day of peace – to all those places in the world that are currently able to experience the peace.

Okay, well, that was a shorter list than I had anticipated…

If you happen to see a piece of the peace floating by, you might want to break off a chunk and hide it somewhere.

Lets go to the news on this day that is, the day of peace.

  • Meanwhile in Iran, no doctor will be killing Troy Davis or droning any kids in Yemen.
  • At the UN, President Obama has just denied peace for Palestine, but in a momentary lapse of reason, he did just blame the Republicans for his continuation of the Bush agenda.

It’s like Guantanamo is still open and we the Patriot Acted…can’t quite put a finger on why Lockheed Martin is so happy about killing people.

Westboro Foo is Us

Posted in activism, apathy, change, economy, journalism, media, News, politics, The Homeland, Washington State Blogs with tags , , , , , , , , , , on September 18, 2011 by lens1

What do you get when you mix the shallow end of the gene pool with lies, cheap beer, ignorance and hot wings, all served up by big breasted Christian girls in tight t-shirts?

Stand up, look just your left, look back to your right, look up, look down and then sit back down.

Welcome to the Homeland!

It doesn’t matter if you’re Jael Phelps, Rush Limbaugh or Judith Miller…they’re all selling something, and most of it was financed by our collective dissonance.

For example, Jael believes that God hates gay humans, dead troops, Muslims, non-believers, free-thinkers and the Seattle Seahawks.  Not surprisingly…so do Rush and Judith.

The Similac generation has done to us – what we the government cheese generation have done to the baggy pants wearing generation.  None of us really care what the other does, as long as we can pretend to be free of conscience, while we catch ‘the news’ that is the Reno air show crash.  Again.

Being free of conscience is awesome!

The conscience-free Homeland and our lack of a moral compass, also affords Mexican and Central Americans the opportunity to die by the thousands for our Marijuana addiction, while Palestinians and various other evil doers with a skin color other than in power…die by the millions so that we can be foreclosed on by Bank of America.

It’s like we’re too busy spreading democracy – to see the Monsanto corn for the Petraeus.

Go here, read more before football starts.

On a fun positive note…The Foo Fighters are almost as confusing to the Phelps’, as the Obama girls are confused about dad’s Nobel Peace Prize.

I pity the Westboro, I pity ourselves, but I do not pity the Foo.

Blame My Alarm Clock

Posted in activism, anti war, change, congress, economy, journalism, media, News, politics, seattle, The Homeland, torture with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on September 15, 2011 by lens1

I’ve used the same alarm clock since 1993.
It’s made of cheap plastic – yet full of pretend Chinese anarchy.

Though the plastic may be getting brittle…It still works great.

Obviously – this makes the BushBama Depression my fault.

I should have shopped for a new clock before NAFTA.
I could have shopped for a clock after 9/11.

What about during the Army Anthrax Attacks?

I think the end of Posse Comitatus took care of that.

We know who did it.
It wasn’t Iraq, it wasn’t Mexico, nor was it
Rep. Norm Dicks’ VietAfPakistan.

The Democrats didn’t impeach, because Patriot Acts aren’t cheap.

If China can build a better alarm clock
Who then will arrest Robert Mueller?

A Petraeus? A Holder? Perhaps John Ashcroft?
Hey look! It’s Tom Ridge’s – Alberto Gonzales Chertoff!

Happy almost Diecisiete de Setiembre.

My alarm clock still works great.
