Nevermind
Twenty years ago, a few of us had just gotten out of the military after our glorious victory!…over the pretend ‘Kuwaiti incubator baby killers‘ of Iraq.
The mission was accomplished, and we were ready for new lives and shit loads of beer, because the beer would help us ignore the Gulf War Syndrome for another 20 years or so.
At some point, Clinton became President and all of our guns were
taken from us.
Upon the completion of the weapons-free Clinton era, I awoke to that brave new world of AL Gore’s lockbox, rigged elections and the end of cheap beer…all of which would be blamed on Ralph Nader.
Pretend elections, cheap beer, no guns available to us – what could possibly occur to make it any worse?
Eleven years later, we’re still fighting pretend evildoers, Obama is the much, much, far and away better Bush…and the only ones who appear to be pleased are Israel, British Petroleum and name a defense/”intelligence” contractor.
In Washington State, we’re facing yet another shocking budget shortfall of about $2 billion dollars. Schools, illegal humans and Walmart shoppers are sure to suffer.
Teabaggers and their frightened counterparts known as the Democrats…will certainly point out really expensive poop factories, poor folk handouts in the form of food and health care, as well as the aforementioned loss of our guns – as proof, that Obama is somehow the lesser Bush.
As the class wars continue to shit upon the millionaires of the Homeland, I find some solace in the fact that a reporter will sometimes sneak an article like this one…into the conservatively owned, conservative newspapers of the Homeland, like Spokane…where cop killers are hated, and the killer cops walk as free as Mitchel and Jessen.
I used to think we were smart enough to understand that when we spend trillions, upon trillions, and maybe even trillions more of the trillions of dollars spent…to fight pretend wars against pretend enemies, schools, jobs and marijuana…that somehow, those trillions, upon trillions of dollars spent – might somehow maybe, adversely affect our state budgets.
Well…it’s been twenty years and then some, so, Nevermind.
