Butt Puffery and Profit

Posted in activism, change, congress, journalism, media, News, politics, The Homeland, Washington State with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 31, 2010 by lens1

Better known as blowing smoke up your ass while charging you for it.

This mornings butt puffery, has us arming up Saudi Arabia and a few other Persian Gulf allies, with jets, missiles and other goodies…to the tune of 25 billion dollars in sales over the last two years.

That’s just good business sense and knowing your market.   Because what’s good for Boeing, GE, Raytheon and the CIA, is always good for the rest of the world as well.

In fact it’s worked wonders in the past with Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, Korea, Vietnam and Oklahoma.

Why change now?

Saudi Arabia!  Today…allies and customers.  Tomorrow…the new Taliban, armed with our weapons.

Funny how that keeps happening, no?

In related cash infusions for earth ending weapons news…President Obama is spending $5 billion to spruce up our nuclear arsenal.  Sure the arsenal needs a Brazilian wax and a pedicure, but should we not spend a few bucks on re-training those who guard the earth ending WMD’s?

Call me old-fashioned, but if common sense were a hand grenade, I think we’d choose the most difficult way to pull the pin with our teeth,  make a huge profit, and still manage to watch in dazed amazement as our intestines land 20 yards away in a patriotic heap of red, white
and blue.

Happy Sunday!

Same Stupid Different Day

Posted in activism, change, journalism, media, News, politics, processed cheese intellect, The Homeland with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 29, 2010 by lens1

As you may have read here often, stupid is spreading across America.  It’s painful, contagious, yet somehow fun to watch…like a Sarah Palin rebuttal, showing her disdain for America and its language.

The stupid goes much deeper than Sarah.

For example, there are still some Americans who think that Colbert is a real fire-breathing conservative…fighting the good fight and taking it to the Democrats.  I kid you not.  Only 41 percent of the idiots polled in this poll, “new” Colbert was a funny guy, making a living by mocking stupid people.

The current state of America’s stupid, explains many things.  Another glaring example, our secret counterterror war.  In Palin English, that means America is a terrorist state, inflicting death, terror and fear into the hearts and minds of brown-skinned humans.  Yes, Colbert is real

The pandemic of stupid in America explains a parent getting “Diary of a Young Girl” by Anne Frank, removed from the school library shelves in Culpeper, Virginia.  Why?  Because of this scary passage where Anne ponders her vagina, intercourse and babies.  “There are little folds of skin all over the place, you can hardly find it. The little hole underneath is so terribly small that I simply can’t imagine how a man can get in there, let alone how a whole baby can get out!”

BOO!!  Yes Virginia, your vagina is where babies used to come from, and where a man came in.

So not only was Anne Frank hiding from the Nazis and Prescott Bush, but she knew more about her body than generations worth of Americans?  Speaks volumes about us.

Colbert is real

Many of us still, still, think Iraq flew some jets into those buildings on 9/11.  Evidently so does Tony Blair.  (If you’ve never heard of Tony Blair, perhaps you and Sarah Palin would enjoy a permanent move to Culpeper, Virginia.) At the Chilcot Inquiry, Tony mentioned the WMD’s that he knew did not exist, Saddam, 9/11 and warned us that we’d better take out Iran and its WMD’s as well.

Colbert…is…real

Topping off today’s feast of stupidity, and this is a fantastic example…Osama bin Laden, the dead leader of Al Qaeda, is taking America to task for being, wait for it…stupid.

Osama says we are ignoring the reality of Climate Change, (points for not using the Global Warming pox) we’ve ruined the global economy, reminded us that we did not sign the Kyoto Protocol and dropped a fucking Noam Chomsky quote on us…and called us the Mafia.

A Bin Laden Chomsky quote?

Wow.

Colbert…is…real, America.  You leave me no choice, but to question the condition that our condition is in.  Man.

Buyout Before You Pullout

Posted in activism, change, congress, economy, journalism, media, News, politics, The Homeland, torture with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 28, 2010 by lens1

Sage advice from Republican ‘johns’ everywhere?  Pay before you play?  Christian Jihadist Incantation?  Vatican approved birth control?

No!  It’s kind of what the Taliban are telling their American counterparts.  They will not accept our billion dollar offer to lay down their arms and go back to opium farming for the CIA.  It’s just not going to happen until they see the foreigners pullout.

As nasty as that sounds, I think I have a solution.  The Taliban could just hang out in Kabul and watch the Blackwater-CIA and the AmorGroup mercenary boys go at each other.

There’s bound to be some pullout action going on with those patriots.

There are reasons to pullout; there are reasons to buyout and there are reasons that Representative Norm Dicks has kept his Mujahideen mouth shut.

Karl Eikenberry warned of the corruption and against another surge of stupidity.  National Intelligence Estimates were not done, nor were they wanted in Iraq or Afghanistan.  This is because NIE’s tend to say embarrassing things like, there are no WMD’s and or that al Qaeda is in Phoenix, not Afghanistan.

Ten years of sending U.S. troops to die for lies; ten years worth of no-bid contracts to kill brown-skinned kids, and their wrong religion practicing parents…just so we can “pullout“  and buyout some of the same people Norm Dicks paid off decades ago.

Sure seems like a long, stupid way to go, just to do more nation, military base and American Embassy building.

State of the Union Spoken in English

No matter what you think of tonight’s SOTU Address, I was absolutely ecstatic, that the brush cutting idiot from Texassistan, was nowhere to be heard…thank you Buddy Christ!! thank you!

There were plenty of highlights, a few lows and no matter how hard they tried, the Republicans looked and acted like my 5th grade teacher.  My 5th grade teacher was a small-minded child rapist, who hated America, despised humans of color and loathed decent health care…other than that, he was a great golfer.

The rest of the Obama SOTU evening went like this…

  • He called Republicans obstructionist retards
  • He called Supreme Court justice Sammy Alito a stupid little bitch (nice touch)
  • He reminded the majority Democrats that they are the majority and perhaps they should consider using their majority and pass some type of fucking legislation
  • Chris Matthews was so taken by Obama’s words, Chris forgot Obama was black
  • Chris Matthews was fired tonight and will become the new host of the Tonight Show
  • Ended the SOTU by calling the Republicans anal cysts on the asshole of Democracy

Obama wants us to have decent health care, jobs, nuclear power plants, education and a savings account.  Corporate owned Congress wants perpetual wars for corporations, stay the course health care, theology instead of biology and Blackwater instead of clean water.

Overall, the best Presidential State of the Union in a while.  His predecessor was a lead based, paint chip eating idiot…so keep that
in mind.

Stay tuned tomorrow when you’ll read the Lens asking…Can we save a trillion dollars a year by ending the fake wars on brown humans?  Can we save lives and another trillion dollars by extraordinarily renditioning the entire former Bush Administration to Waziristan?

Gang Bang a Gong

Get it on?

The reason most Americans are not outraged by the criminal douchebaggery running their nation, is because we are a nation filled with…gang-banging douchebags.

I’m not disparaging the gun-toting, kid killing, old-fashioned Crips and Bloods types.  I’m disparaging the older, whiter, better financed, kid killing gang types.

The worst of these honky infested gangs go by the street names of Democrats, Republicans and their abbreviated gang-banging buddies of the Homeland known as the CIA, FBI, NSA, DEA, DOJ, NRA and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Don’t get me wrong my fellow Homelandian’s, I’m no Randy Weaver, I’m just paying attention to the details.

And within the details, lies the devil.  So if the devil is in the details, and in the details is where we will find the lies, the crimes and the cover-ups…then a detailing I shall go!

Just below, you’ll find today’s list of details that point towards ugly conclusions and things that might make one think.  In this country, that means most of my readers will be thinking about a Miley Cyrus
pole dance…

  • The Iraq Anthrax Attacks against Congress and America?  Think sanctioned gangs of the Homeland.
  • Our GITMO Policy of Torture and Executions by your Pentagon?  Guess which other sanctioned gangs of the Homeland are involved?

Hey, don’t sweat it Homelandian’s.  Details are only an issue if Fox News says so.

As Rahm Emanuel likes to say…get it on!  Go gangbang a fucking
liberal gong!

Questions of the Sheeple

Posted in activism, change, congress, economy, journalism, media, politics, The Homeland with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 26, 2010 by lens1

Can’t quite put my finger on it.  Boeing and Blackwater are doing great!!  Why aren’t the rest of us?

Interesting…

On to the questions of the sheeple.

“So what you’re saying Lens, is that our priorities are a bit skewed?  We say we value certain things, yet our actions and funding say otherwise?

“But what about my yellow ribbons on my car?  What of the news on my teevee?  My Congressman says gays are evil, Obama is black, liberal…liberal and black, yet nothing seems much different from when Bush was cuttin’ brush in Crawford?”

“Oh I see.  You mean the liberal media bias is to blame, along with Muslims, Mexicans and the blacks?”

“Helicopters are cool?  Congress meets in a really big White building?  Built by slave what?”

I give the fuck up.

Accidents Happen

Accident Number One.
Art lovers have no sense of balance.  I can say this with complete metaphysical certitude.

Accident Number Two
Afghanistan is to Pakistan as Iraq is to Texas.  These accidents were also caused by clumsy art lovers who have no sense of balance.  The art lovers in the Pentagon and Raytheonblackwaterboeingthon, tripped and ripped the Middle East Picasso almost ten years ago.  While rumors persist, no firm date is known to exist in fixing this rip.

Accident Number Three
National Parks can has importanze. According to Macho Man Randy Savage, studies are underway, trends are trending and most would agree, that the teaming up of Congress, Parks and the Department of Energy, does indeed make three…and will only lead to someplace being invaded, conquered and occupied.

Be that as it may, this publicly funded cage match for the Intercontinental Belt of public fund-age, will get underway on pay per view this Valentines Day!  The winner takes all and gets to declare their Manhattan Project site, worthy of becoming a National Park.

In keeping with the Manhattan Project and its secretive ways of yesteryear, how any of this pertains to clumsy art lovers who lack balance, beats the shit out of me.

OOoooooh Yeaaaaahhh!!

Good News Bad News

Posted in activism, change, economy, journalism, media, News, politics, The Homeland with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 23, 2010 by lens1

The good news?  Venezuela is sitting on top of the largest deposit of oil reserves known to still exist. That’s more than twice the oil sitting under the Bush family reserves in Saudi Arabia.

The bad news?  Venezuela is sitting on top of the largest deposit of oil reserves known to still exist.

My apologies go out ahead of time to the people of Venezuela…we are finalizing our transactions in the Middle East, and we will be heading your way soon.

Sorry about that.
