Boeing’s #1 Lobbyist

April 21, 2008

Representative Norm Dicks is now the top Boeing lobbyist. This really isn’t a new job description for Norm, he’s just not doing as good a job as he used to. Norm has over 30 years of a painstakingly crafted public image to protect. Over 30 years of pretending to care about liberal causes, the environment, babies and salmon.

Take a look at the environment in Rep. Dicks district, Puget Sound, Hood Canal and the Olympic Peninsula. A word to the wise, don’t eat the shellfish.

Look at veterans health care, look at who Norm screams the loudest to protect…Boeing, mystery pork and one of the largest polluters that Puget Sound has ever witnessed. Norm also has a legacy to protect. A legacy as one of the best friends the military industrial complex has ever slept with.

Imagine if Norm had fought for the Constitution, fought for our rights, fought for not invading Iraq instead of voting for it. Imagine if Rep. Norm Dicks fought half as hard for us as he does for Boeing.

Yeah, I laughed too….

There is a pattern here. Research some of what follows (a Vigilant hint…copy and paste). Soak all of it in. Then question everything you know about Norm. Question everything.

  • Lockheed Martin documents, rocket contract and Boeing
  • Richard Pearl, Iraq, Trireme and Boeing
  • Boeing scandal, 2003
  • Boeing Executives, Karl Rove briefing, Old Executive Building
  • Rumsfeld, Defense Policy Board, David Jeremiah, Ronald Fogelman and Boeing
  • Darleen Druyan, USAF and Boeing
  • Sec. of the Air Force James Roche and Boeing
  • Alaska Senator Ted Stevens, amendment to the Pentagon budget and Boeing
  • Denny Hastert, Illinois and Boeing
  • Sen. Stevens fundraiser and Boeing
  • Rudy DeLeon, Defense Department and Boeing
  • Norm Dicks, Denny Hastert, Andy Card and President Bush
  • Project 28 a fence to nowhere

and Boeing……

The Spokane Sonics

  • Ownership – The Cowles Family
  • Coach – Sherman Alexie
  • Team Announcer – Dan Kleckner and Bud Nameck can fight for it.
  • Name Change – The Spokane Lilacs

There, problem solved. Time to move on…..

A Glimpse at Stupid

April 14, 2008

Stupid has a name. His name is Representative Geoff Davis from Kentucky. Yes those first two sentences alone, should be proof enough of Geoff’s stupidity. But alas there is indeed more. Good ol boy Geoff had his “stupid” on real good the other day.

While Rep. Davis was speaking (hopefully slowly) to a group of donors at a fundraiser in Kentucky, Representative Geoff “stupid” Davis called Senator Obama a boy. A boy who should not have his finger on “the button.” You can read about it here if need be. (Also pay attention to the words of Senators McConnell and Bunning.)

This comes from a United States Congressman. Take his words at face value. Then go just a step further and imagine how many other people like Geoff, inhabit our Congress? Imagine what they are incapable of doing? Or more to the point, imagine what they are capable of doing?

So, in recognition that Norm Dicks and John Conyers may have to actually work with Representative Davis, I now call a two day truce on all negative Dicks/Conyers posts. You’re welcome guys.

You can be sure this idiot is not the only Congressman or Congresswoman who thinks like Geoff. You can also be fairly secure in thinking that not much will come of this. How fucking appropriate.

Representative Geoff Davis. Representing America and our ideals.

God bless us.

Some reading for Conyers and Dicks

April 12, 2008

It’s a PDF file fellas. Read it all. You own it now…

Bush, Cheney, Powell, Rice, Tenet, Ashcroft and Rumsfeld. Cowards who will pay for what they have done.

Norm Dicks and John Conyers. Two Representatives that did nothing.

The cowards legacies are now your legacies.

Get On the Bus!

April 10, 2008

Governor Gregoire was in Port Townsend today, which means Dino Rossi had a huge contingent of supporters stalking the Governor’s bus.

I saw no evidence of Tim Eyman stalking the bus. Although someone in the crowd did whisper “car tabs”. Tim will be emailing Mayor Sandoval shortly…

The Stalker, Tim Eyman

April 9, 2008

Tim has been busy stalking city councils across the state. He has been threatening East Wenatchee, the real Wenatchee and just recently Sequim. Tim’s emails promise “ugly bloody battles” if those city councils even dream of raising car tab fees. Have you ever read a Tim Eyman email? Tim is the James A. Michener of email writers. He is unable to both make his point and threaten you in less than 12 paragraphs. (I usually do it in 5)

Be on the lookout Tacoma and Orting. I think you are next up on Tim’s “to be stalked” by email list.

Oh and Tim if you get a moment away from stalking and throwing away your Cougs/Gonzaga NCAA “Elite 8” watches, I know a way you can save the entire state a billion dollars. Or more!

The war in Iraq will cost the Washington State Taxpayers, you love so dearly, a projected 1.9 billion dollars this year. You don’t even want to know what it’s cost over the last five years in both dollars and human life.

So how about it Tim? Screw car tabs, figure out a way to get a war ending or administration impeaching initiative on the ballot. Many other states will follow…follow me Tim? There has to be at least one of you in maybe 42 other states that would follow….your lead. You Tim, you!

Saving Washington State Taxpayers and possibly 42 other states taxpayers billions and end a war? Wow Tim…just wow. Sleep on it before you send out your next email.

Absolut Pisses Off the Lapel Pin Crowd

April 6, 2008

Absolut Vodka ran an add that sold some vodka. The inbred slower witted of America, were dumbfounded. They were flabbergasted and beside themselves with pretend rage, brought on by worshiping their right wing, sedition spewing, fake media “talent” that told them to be angry. The ad below.

Sweet Jesus! Call a lapel pin wearing patriot and do something! Or get a grip.

4014 dead U.S. troops in Iraq and about 500 in Afghanistan. How much do you think we are spending on these wars for Democracy? If you dare, look here. Get a grip. Then get off your couch.

If you must read the stupidity, go to the Absolut site and read how they caved, then read the comments.

If you are one of the moderate Americans who make up the majority of this country, be ashamed.

Then get off of your couch….
