Hope is Only 600 Light-Years Away

So I guess NASA has discovered a Kevin Costner approved planet that will support Capitalism, Democracy and a few Starbucks?  Great news!

At 600 light-years away, we could all be enjoying a Freedom filled Frappuccino and some Walmart brand – organic meat bits, in saaaayyy maybe 20 million years or so?

I’m no marketing guru, but I don’t think we as a species…have that kind of time.

Just ask BP, the Homeland’s Congress or the smarter organisms of deep space.  They’ve already cashed our checks and written us off as being not much brighter than worm food.
