Intermission

April 11, 2013

hanging out
waitin’ for the masses to unrest
it’s a process of
hanging out
waitin’ for the masses to unrest

don’t forget your disaster kit

As If

April 11, 2013

if only we feared fusion centers
as much as we fear 129-year-old
North Korean
jets

Screaming in a Crowded Theater Filled With Deaf People Who Paid to Be There

April 9, 2013

i remember the “13” of us
screaming at Bush
outside his fake
Crawford ranch

as a whole
generally speaking
all in all
it’s still just about “13” of us
standing outside another fake
Bush Crawford ranch

i bet there’s a different “14” out there
somewhere
who feel the same way about something else
in front of yet another
fake
Bush Crawford ranch

A Love Poem Gone All Soul Coughing

April 8, 2013

sometimes when i think of you
nothing comes to mind

i don’t remember the good times gone bad
i’ve forgotten the bad times done right
maybe
i think

i don’t recall your birthday
and if i did
i’d give you last years gift

whatever that was

my memories of you
fought
cut clean
elevators to the mezzanine
chump…change
and it’s on

Insignificant We

April 6, 2013

as i walk upon the body of an ancient tree that rests amongst the corpses of a thousand others who were thrown from a two-million-year-old sea to the sand of million-year-old beach kept warm by a 5-billion-year-old sun which hangs in a trillion-year-old sky that goes on farther than forever…i can’t help but wonder what a kardashian might be wearing.
