The young man who was my handyman for many years is trapped on the Mexico side of the border. His American wife and three American children miss him terribly. Our government won’t let him return, because they already caught him once trying to get back to Los Angeles without documents.
(Since late February I’ve been sidetracked by moving to a new house. I have missed my blog friends, and I miss doing my own posts. I will be back soon.)
Sorry to hear about your friend, it’s all truly a mess. I’ve done a little photo work with some of the immigration groups here in the NW…the ICE/GEO Group/other corporate prison problem seemingly has no end to it.
