Piece of the Peace Day
September 21, 2011
Today is the International Day of Peace.
I’d like to dedicate this day of peace – to all those places in the world that are currently able to experience the peace.
Okay, well, that was a shorter list than I had anticipated…
If you happen to see a piece of the peace floating by, you might want to break off a chunk and hide it somewhere.
Lets go to the news on this day that is, the day of peace.
- The State of Georgia and a doctor will kill Troy Davis any minute now.
- Meanwhile in Iran, no doctor will be killing Troy Davis or droning any kids in Yemen.
- At the UN, President Obama has just denied peace for Palestine, but in a momentary lapse of reason, he did just blame the Republicans for his continuation of the Bush agenda.
- Teachers are on strike in Tacoma, Longshoreman are being arrested in Longview, nurses are going to strike in California and evidently, some people are unhappy with Wall Street in New York.
It’s like Guantanamo is still open and we the Patriot Acted…can’t quite put a finger on why Lockheed Martin is so happy about killing people.
