I guess times are troubled over at the Huffpost? The progressive writers and readers that congregate there, are none too happy about the AOL takeover. Here we are, about a decade after the New World Order finally came to fruition…and folks is spittin mad!
Evidently, they’ve just realized that Arianna was pulling their collective fingers all along. If this was say, 2003…I’d be more sympathetic.
Meanwhile…back at Democratic Underground! Where Democrats are just fabulous thank you very much and we just don’t know how in heaven’s name, anyone could disparage Norm Dicks and friends over this new Patriot Act thingy? Besides, we’re pretty sure Ralph Nader had something to do with something…
Remember angry ex-Huffpost progressives, civil liberties are only as good as the Democratic Congress-humans that are keeping us

Reform the “Patriot” Act.
Why they don’t they just call it the “I think you’re hot and I want to spy on you using the voyeurism disguised as surveillance Act”, the “We think you might possibly be or are a terrorist Act”, or simply the “Terrorist Act”?

please forgive my using the word ‘freeze’ above; i didn’t mean to encourage anybody to think about obomber’s cutting home heating aid for the elderly in half.
