Sanity Vanity

Jon Stewart’s sanity came into DC…like a salacious Kenneth Starr reading of President Clinton’s endurance.  Unlike President Clinton, the sanity was fast, furious and was over in a Crawford, Texas minute.

Jon Stewart and friends meant well, they just don’t mean well enough.

Had Jon placed his well-meaning and well-behaved crowd of moderate minded moderates…upon the gears of the machine…it would have mattered.  As it stands, folks had a good time, listened to some music, laughed and heard Jon give a rousing moderately safe speech.

The headlines tell us that Stewart’s rally was more than twice the size of Becks rally…and that’s what she said.

After Glenn Beck’s much smaller rally, the patriots and their signs of phallic freedom went home.  Later that day, Obama droned some kids in Pakistan to death and war with Iran remained on the table.

After Stewart’s much LARGER rally, the gathered moderates and their correctly spelled signs of moderately sized freedom…went home.   Later that day, Obama droned some kids in Pakistan to death and war with Iran is still on the table.

As Donald Rumsfeld can attest, size only matters in porn and at political rally’s.  It’s how you use your political rally that counts.

Glenn Beck’s itsy bitsy, teenie little rally for those who are angry at the skin color of their Commander-in-Chief, accomplished the same thing as Jon Stewart’s much, much larger rally for those who won’t get angry about anything.  That being…a bunch of blog posts happened and Obama droned some kids in Pakistan to death.
