A SpongeBob Education

April 23, 2010

Only in this Homeland, could a little girl learn how to save her choking friend by having watched a SpongeBob SquarePants episode.

Gee, I wonder?  Could there be some ramifications of war and defense spending over lets say…education?  Maybe real healthcare reform?  Your broke California like state budget?  Did I mention education?

The failures of the Homeland, conveniently pointed out to us by SpongeBob SquarePants.

So apropos.  No?

As the proud remnants of the George W. Bush created Homeland continues to crumble around us, 50 of the 54 states of the Homeland are in deep financial crisis.  Conservative small business owners blame George Bush II, (Obama) for having continued to follow the very same Bush/Cheney policies of wars before breakfast cereals, jobs or common sense.

Obama’s wars create more humans who want to see all of us dead.  Obama’s wars are the reason that the middle class fairy tale that was too good to be true, was indeed too good to be true.

In addition to the never-ending Obama wars, the Homeland is also threatening several other nations with invasion.  We can do this because we have an endless supply of undereducated and hungry people, who will sign up for them.  We can do this because the Pentagon and the defense industry do not fear the citizens of the glorious Homeland.

We can also threaten the world because we do not invest in the future, education, healthcare, infrastructure or common sense.  Threatening the world is a breeze, because 200 or so million of us will do absolutely nothing about it, other than attend Mass and buy some more stuff.  On credit.

In conclusion, the best that we can ask of ourselves and of the Homeland’s Gestapo is this…Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?  Absorbent and yellow and porous is he?

Those are tough questions…keep up the good work sheeple.
