Sarah Palin has announced the name of her soon to be released book, Going Rogue.
After I stopped laughing, I too wondered if I could get a six figure payday for a book of half truths and puzzling Palin stories of no substance.
In related beer news…Rogue Ales of Newport, Oregon has yet to decide if they will sue the shit out of Sarah’s publisher, or just exploit Going Rogue for every ounce of beer selling goodness that they can.

As a beer judge and card carrying member of Rogue Nation, I offer the following review of the beer I’d brew for her:
This brew has a pretty flashy start, but no finish. Malts: an unsophisticated and uninteresting profile, needlessly assertive and acidic. No sweetness at all. Overall, generally tasteless and unsatisfying, a profound lack of depth for the style.
Like most pointguards: No hops.
I regret this brew ever got out of the brewhouse.

Are you sure you didn’t brew up some Hamm’s or Animal beer? Angry, watered down, overpriced, people will buy it by the case load and as the seasons change…so will the pictures on the can.
