Boeing was Dicked?

Norm Dicked that is. Norm said, “It’s just one of the worst things in my whole life. I am just shocked over this.” The worst thing in your whole life Norm? Norm is pissed because his 30 years in power just went poof! Norm is sick because he not only got punked, he got Bushed.
Norm and the rest of our Congressional Delegation are ready to fight. They will fight for Boeing. They will fight for Boeing’s money. They will not fight for the Constitution. They will not fight the Bush Administration on torture. They will not Fight the Bush Administration on much of anything.
Norm could have gotten things back to normal. He could have returned things to the good ol days when folks didn’t care what he did. He chose to be complicit. Just like Patty, just like every other member of Congress. Complicit.
I know folks at Boeing. I’ve had family at Boeing. Hell, I’m even an Air Force Veteran. This is a blow, this is painful. While it’s easy to blame Norm, Patty and friends….. it’s really our fault. We’ve been asleep while the Bush Administration had it’s way with our country. This Boeing decision is just one of many that has hurt us. This time, more of you paid attention. More of you are outraged.
Again, Norm is an easy target, I enjoy picking on him as well. But this is your chance Boeing employee. This is gut check time America (sorry Alabama). Our Democratic and Republican Congress people sold us out a long time ago. They and the Bush Administration have shown their true intent.
Now what the fuck are you going to do about it?

One man, Medal of Honor recipient Hershel “Woody” Williams, thinks the Pentagon snub of Boeing was a terrible decision, and I agree. Why? In part, because I trust Boeing employees — including many friends and neighbors — far more than I trust any individual, corporate or government interests in France or the European Union. Congress needs to revisit and reverse this decision immediately.

I’m sure Congress will revisit this, judging by the rhetoric from the Wa. State Delegation. It will be a long drawn out ordeal. Even with everyones Boeing connections, we should be a bit concerned about the good folks in Alabama as well. Northrop-Airbus were looking to sell a product just like our friends at Boeing. Air Force/Pentagon are saying their decision was based on the Airbus proposal being better all across the board. I don’t know about that, but this is quite a situation the Pentagon and others have created.
