Your art and the ARTicle are excellent. The comparisons between sports and war are truth, true and simple. Sports, from peewee up and as seemly innocent as it may appear, is about the business of instilling a divide and conquer mentality. In this, it is extremely proficient, as we can well see. While speaking of sports and its rabble of sub-genre fanatics, the mob mentality is among the most frightening of all frightening phenomenon to be amongst.

People like Hedges help me sleep at night. It’s still amazing to me that more of the Patriot Acted are unable to see past the insanity, the two party corporate system, the mass propaganda line up take your shoes off shut your mouth and ignore the dying, torture and Detroit’s all around us, and yet, we all still can have our guns.
I think somewhere between the hum of our constant monitoring and prosecution for thought crimes…if we were to listen…we just might hear Orwell crying in another dimension–having never actually believed we could be so collectively nuts.

It’s funny you should mention Orwell. I’ve read 1984 twice before a few decades ago and just started reading it again two days ago. It’s tame, by modern standards.

Wow. Art is in the mind of the beholder. All Tubularsock sees here is a guy out for a walk in the park on a sunny day with a police escort. But of course I’m still using a Brownie-Automatic with no setting for sub-genre.

I believe the iPhone 17z is rumored to have not only the sub-genre setting…but it’s the 27 different shades of rose colored Homelandian glasses setting that will make those foreign kids build em’ faster! (I might tweet this later in fact)
You should have seen my “almost key words” for this nude. I used to use ‘Palin naked’ or ‘Palin porn’ just to bring in some angry comments about my false advertising. But those guys were like seriously unhinged. And Congressman. So I stopped poking them.
