The Asparagus Tree

The coal miner, the burger flipper, the E-2 in Vietghanistan – the brown-skinned agricultural worker.

…for all we know, asparagus are cute little trees.

The economic draft is directly related to the war on drugs.  Like the war on your moms coke habit, the war on education goes extreem exstream really swell.  The war on your food was won by Monsanto, long before Clinton took away all of our guns…all of em’! – then Obama did so again!

The wars on union labor, retirement, health-scare and a chance for a vacation at Lake Chelan…were won during Reagan’s diaper.  The wars on Spanish speakers, clean air, water and Islam…have not yet
been won.

…and for all many of us know, asparagus grow on trees.

The missing Spanish Speakers who used to climb the “asparagus trees”…are in the same boat as the just droned child who spoke Pashto, Urdu, or Yemeni Arabic.  None of them can tell the difference between a scary conservative drone…from a Peace Prize liberally one.

…and for all we know, asparagus are like terrorists – they all grow
on trees.

If you’re lucky enough to have found a career in the Army, at Burger King, or in the Homeland’s agricultural fields, try not to breath, drink or eat too much…because Dr. Oz most certainly doesn’t have your back.
