Trillions of Tortured Ironies

Life is still pretty good here in the Homeland.  We can eat or drink ourselves to death, and no SWAT Team will kick down your door for having grown fat and useless.

This phenomenon explains almost as much about us…almost as much as it confuses us.

WikiLeaks are at least as terroristy as the 48 al Qaeda-ban guys we haven’t been able to kill.  In ten years.  In about seven different nations.  With 100’s of thousands of troops and a few trillion dollars.

The Homeland will demonize the leaks about war crimes, torture and the cover ups…And how! the media does play along.

The media and the Homeland will not however, demonize the actual proof of war crimes, torture and cover ups that these leaks contain…but will instead make you read about it here.

Which reminds me, a million dead Iraqi’s by our hand, is better than by Saddam’s hand.  I know this because Obama looks forward.

Keeping most of our Homeland made oil for ourselves – as well as selling it to ourselves at a reasonably cheap – Costco like price, does not make ExxonMobile or Congress happy.

Clean air does not create enough dirty air jobs, nor does it make the clean coal industry or Congress happy.  This is why Obama will not push for cleaner air standards…because he’s as liberal as Condoleezza was a crying girl in Cheney’s office.

I think we can extrapolate from the above words, that no matter which side of the field your find yourself playing on…nothing matters more than how well you are able to spell “moran”.

Extrapolation occurs because our clean energy comes in the form of coal and or nuclear power.  One will certainly kill us sooner, while the other can keep on killing us for like 200,013 years.

Yes…we sometimes attempt to clean up earth killing places like Hanford, but it always costs less than fighting our wars.  So we can’t afford it.

$12 Billion may seem like a bunch of money to clean up an already ‘perfectly safe place’ like Hanford…but when your local media “reports” that it will cost only $12 Million with an M and not 12 Billion with a B…I’m left wondering what exactly I’m supposed to be afraid of and or mad at?

Which I think is the point.

You know, things aren’t really all that bad.  We can still eat and drink ourselves to death…and no politician will ever pay for its crimes.  Unless there’s an iPhone, Twitter and a married penis involved.

I guess we’re not always that successful at understanding irony, hypocrisy or torture.  But we are however, pretty Goddamn successful at giving tens of trillions of dollars to a handful of billionaires.

So there’s that.
