A Progressive League of Diminished Expectation

Protests and signs usually only garner big media attention, when Glenn Beck and 127 angry Teabangers with misspelled signs show up…to protest against municipal sewer systems and the black man-in their white house.

It appears that this phenomenon occurs, because there is a black conservative president, aggressively fighting the global wars on brown-skinned people and for some strange reason…the Tea Party also really despises sewage that has been treated by a municipality??

And so, while the progressive October 2nd, DC rally of progressively progressive moderates was indeed…progressive…it did become progressively apparent…that none of the 78 different progressive affinity groups, nor any of their 749 progressive causes…that when progressively combined…would be calling President Obama a war criminal and or demanding his impeachment.

However!  I did hear that there was a progressive group hug at Busboys and Poets!!

Remember progressives, the illegal Bush wars and torture for Boeing, are now just the illegal Obama wars and torture for Boeing.

Next time, try gathering your progressive pals together, bring your correctly spelled signs and your Dave Matthews filled iPods of guilt ridden freedom…and enjoy a lovely picnic inside the CIA!  Then you’ll know, that wherever Winona Ryder is, is where Adam Sandler does not belong.
