Israel is Listening, Norm Dicks is Not
If only we could get our war criminals to blink at the very mention of a boycott…oh what a somewhat beautiful world it would be.
Just the other day, Israel was counting its nuclear weapons and polishing its white phosphorus bombs, when it got word of two uppity food co-ops in Washington State. These co-ops sell food that is good for us, good for the planet and they’re generally a great place to plan for the overthrow of an oppressive regime or three.
I’d hang out there more often, but my truck and my distrust of Obamadrones, tends to put off the wheat grass flavored smoothie makers that work there. I have nothing against wheat grass flavored people, in fact, I simply love their unique tattoos of white tribal nonconformity!
But…Israel is listening. Israel is paying attention to the food co-ops of Port Townsend and Olympia, Washington and it isn’t because Israel gives a shit about wheat grass flavored smoothie makers.
It’s the boycott.
In fact, the mere thought of boycotting Israeli nuclear or white phosphorus weaponry…drives the Israeli weapons of mass destruction supporters, absolutely fucking conservative! It also gets teeny, tiny Port Townsend, Washington, a visit from a real live Israeli official!!
Gideon Lustig is his name and defending genocide and Israeli weapons of mass destruction is his game. Gideon is traveling to Port Townsend because evidently…boycotts work.
To be fair, I also support America’s various genocides. I buy Sherman Alexie books, eat fast food and have never met a terrorist child, that didn’t leave me wanting to support President Obama’s wars against Islam.
I do enjoy boycotting oppressive regimes, but are the peace-loving, wheat grass flavored smoothie makers…even qualified to sell Israeli nukes and white phosphorus bombs? Let alone handle them? Is there a co-op policy that allows for the employee handling of Israeli weapons of mass destruction? Can’t I just not buy Israeli WMD’s and feel good about myself? Can I get cheaper Israeli WMD’s in Silverdale? Do China or Iran make wheat grass flavored smoothies?
