Axis of Healthcare

If the ‘healthscare’ circus of stupidity currently on display from all sides of the known healthcare universe of concerned millionaires and their billionaire masters…doesn’t drive you to read even more Sarah Palin twitter’s on climate change, wait till you read about Mississippi and their good friend Iran.

As you may or more than likely may not know, Mississippi is no place to be if you are poor, not white and in need of medical attention.  Or a job.  Or a fair trial etc. etc. But thanks to Iran and a few of their doctors, one community in Mississippi will be training healthcare workers, to fan out into their communities to dispense much-needed help and information about general healthcare and welfare to the people.

It goes without saying, but I’m going to say it anyway, that our wars on drugs, people of color and nations with things that we want, makes people like Dick Cheney very wealthy.  Guess what actually trying to help our fellow humans makes for people like Dick?  You guessed it, nothing, nada…dick.

I recall Rick Steves tried to tell us a thing or two about Iran.  Apparently it’s a nation filled with humans who love their babies and life.  It’s also a nation being run by religious fanatics and politicians, who could give a flying fuck about their constituents best interests.  Sounds familiar, no?

If we can judge a nations honesty and wholesome goodness by its actions…then we are indeed nothing as advertised.

In America, pregnant women can drop and die next to EMT’s on a coffee break, but her corpse and unborn child will have to wait for them to finish their snack, before any lifesaving help can be attempted.  We spend approximately $50 million a year looking for our MIA’s in Vietnam, we spend billions trying to ease the suffering of our Agent Orange veterans and their families…we spend dick trying to clean up the chemical cocktail of death we left behind.

Our newer veterans and “enemies” are dealing with Depleted Uranium.  Billions are spent per week on fake wars, hundreds of billions for Wall Street and billions more for Pentagon friendly defense contractors…

The axis of healthcare is a ponzi scheme run by lobbyists and your Congress.

The axis of evil is a lot closer to home than most of us care to dwell on.
