Representative Dan Burton wants to wrap the Capitol gallery in a Plexiglas shield to ward off terrorist attacks.

I’m with Dan.  Lets cover up all of Congress to protect us from them.  The worlds biggest condom if you will.

    Well…

    The war is against terrorism… and so anyone who is against the war must be *for* terrorism.. which would make them a terrorist… and Code Pink is against the war… and they shout things and display anti- war (read: terrorist) messages from the capitol gallery.

    Soooo…. ya.

    That sounds about right.

    Oh, one thing, though..

    Terrorism usually is designed to scare and otherwise upset the general population.

    I’m not so sure that would be the reaction if someone ever did manage to get a bomb through the assload of security they have at the capitol, and then dropped it on congress.

    I’m not saying it’s a good idea, just that some might think “well, it’s about time… ”
    Which would not be the reaction a real terrorist would want, and thus would make the capitol less likely to be a target of terrorism.
