Laws are Meant to be Ignored
Just ask Cheney’s dick.
According to the Everett Herald, there is widespread defiance of the cell phone law. Texters, cell phoners and texting cell phoners, are all thumbing their collective noses at the law. And the man.
While driving.
Blame it on Bush and Nixon. Because as any good patriot knows, nothing is illegal until a Kennedy gets caught doing it, torture is just a retarded cousin to hazing, the financial crisis started on January 18th, 2009 and freedom isn’t fucking free.
You will not be surprised to know I posted this as I “drove” past Boeing Field on I-5, while enjoying an organically grown, picked and shipped Starbucks triple shot of hot, bitter tasting water coupled with a cinnamon scone, as I scratched my crotch and sang along to
In Bloom.
I guess I still don’t know what it means.

Just a thought. Maybe if society and it’s individuals would take a little more responsibility in their own behavior, stupid laws like the cell phone law would be avoided. Of course that does not go with the trend of expecting the government to protect and provide for every need, including raising children for unfit parents. News flash folks, the government can’t manege it’s own tasks, even the basic ones. So again, lets hold individuals accountable for their behavior instead of thinking the answer is another law that will not be enforced or “selectively” enforced and used as another form of probable cause for the police to harass whom they choose to.
As long as I am drifting, here is an additional concept that I think should be legal. For adults over 25, Mutual Combat. Involved parties agree to terms and sign away all rights to take legal action. Both individuals have to be willing and agree to the terms. Let people settle their differences how they choose to. Period. We have become sheep that simply wait to be told what behavior is acceptable by people that simply do not live in the world of the commoner.
BTW, I have seen many of our fine police officers gabbing away on their cell phones since that great new law was enacted. Of course, as a lazy part of the problem american, that is probably “legal” in the fine print. Two sets of rules are always great, especially if you get the better deal.

Being the eternal optimist that I am, I think it’s safe to say the ship of lesser laws has sailed and it landed somewhere near Somalia. I can appreciate what you are saying, but we are going to need those laws, so we can refill the prisons with the new law breakers, once Obama lets all of the drug addicts out. And let us not forget those private prison corporations, who need the bodies and still have friends in Congress.
Thanks JJ.
