War Criminals on the Loose

April 16, 2009

Do you live near any former high level Bush cabinet members?  How about the Bush co-conspirators at the Pentagon, DOD, DOJ or the glorious Homeland department?  The EPA? DOE?  Perhaps Jr. himself…Cheney, Rove, Addington, Gonzales?

If so, keep your eyes open for the Secret Service to be called off the job and watch for the U.S. Marshals to move in and start rounding up these criminals.  Because Operation Reverse Extraordinary Rendition, has begun.  The torture documents have been released.  Go here to see them.  Then stop and think about what this means…

A legacy forming decision for Obama is at hand.  Will he prosecute or “look forward.”

I expect you teabaggers will be in the streets again tonight, protesting these criminals.  Right?

The evidence may be in plain sight, but don’t expect anyone to face any adverse consequences from it.

Pay particular attention to this bit (don’t let the *bugs distract you) :
“In releasing these memos, it is our intention to assure those who carrying out their duties relying in good faith upon the legal advice from the Department of Justice that they will not be subject to prosecution,” the White House statement said.

      Update:

Even in Spain the chances are dwindling.

KO has a few words of wisdom for the President…

I’m not only having reply problems?, but I’m also not holding my breath on anyone being prosecuted.
If the Border Patrol can be shamed into pulling back…well, hope floats, right.

See you in the streets Ginger, again.

          Yep yep.

I’ll have some hot tea and marzipan on the viewing tower. I’ll share if you wish.

Also, I’m seriously considering a new, longer focal length lens. Might be good for some upcoming photo ops. 😀

Have you ever been to Robi’s in Lynnwood? For a photographer, they may as well sell crack. High quality, expensive, huge selection of photography crack.

          Errr.. I mean “equipment”

See you at the next photo op this summer?

Ah, yes, well, the crack I had my eye on turned out to be a great deal more expensive than I’d anticipated.

Oh, and one last unrelated bit of photo awesomeness.

I took a couple hundred shots in RAW at the Coffee Strong punk rock show on Friday. Then I went back to my dorm, and fell asleep at the keyboard. When I woke up I groggily hit whatever OK button looked likely and promptly deleted the whole evening’s worth of awesome. Too tired to panic, I just went to bed. But this morning I did a bit of research and found a program that could undelete raw files off an SD card!

          And it did!

Forty bucks, but considering how I am, it was a bargain at that and I’ll probably be using it again sometime.

This is the link if you’re interested in taking a look. The trial version will find files, but you have to buy it to undelete them.

          If I had a dollar…

Actually, I’ve been pretty lucky with the loss of files thang. But I’ll check out that link…the loss of RAW files is just not pretty.

How’s Coffee Strong doing by the way?

Cant see a reply button below so it goes here.

          1) Coffee Strong is awesome. Stop in sometime!

          2) If you ever do have a delete accident, don’t use the SD card for anything else. If you can get the card to me, then I can use the program that I already bought to try and get your files off the card and on to a disk for you.
Depending on the timeliness of the issue this could save you a few bucks. If you have to have it right away, then it’s worth the $40 to buy the program.

That’s what I thought it said too.

Guess we’re still in the justice for the powerful only…portion of our history.
