War on This, That and the Other

We are currently in the middle of three failed wars.  The war on drugs, terror and you.  Throw in politicians, lobbyists, religion and buzzwords like “socialism” and you get what you pay for.  A fucking mess with very few immigrants left to clean it up.

There are still other unresolved wars waging on our blood stained shores.  There is the war on people who are not white.  This includes one of our longest running failed wars, the battle against Indians. This war is being waged via casinos, the BIA, the church, diseased blankets, reservations, forced marches, the FBI, uranium mining, fake treaty’s, sugar, internment camps, national monuments, bleached flour and alcohol.

Those first peoples are resilient.

In addition to the ongoing Indian War, we had a war over slavery.  There was an American Revolution, the War of 1812, the “old” Mexican American War, a Spanish War, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War I and the previously mentioned, glorious Global War on Terror. We are still engaged in wars on science, the environment, star wars, media wars, a war on Christmas, guns, hunger, cancer, poverty, the Constitution, journalism, common sense, the middle class and fake butter flavoring on microwave popcorn.  Hell, we’ve even had a war being waged and ignored in southern California, for 40 years. Over 15,000 people have died fighting in this war.

But we are a peace loving, God fearing nation.  Just don’t look in our general direction, or we’ll…well, you know.
