When you’ve got Steve!
A big gay shout-out to Representative Steve King of Iowa. I’ll give you three guesses as to which “party” Steve belongs to.
So Representative King fears gay folks. Representative King says Iowa will now become “the gay marriage Mecca.” Uncle Stevie says a butt load of stupid things. Stupid things like, the torture dished out by us at Abu Ghraib was just hazing, or that Iraq is safer than DC, Senator Joe McCarthy was a great American hero, gay people are like leprechauns and gay, gay, Gay, and GAY!
Rep. King doth protest too much, methinks.
Chill out Steve. Enjoy a Bikini Kill tune. Then shut the fuck up.

The Vigilant Lens 
It is un-American to divide people into groups of 1st and 2nd class citizens.
People want freedom. The government should stand out of the way.

But the millions of sleepy Americans who could change things, who are moderate thinkers, who want freedom, who want affordable health care, education, jobs and just want America to be that pretend one, that we learned about in grade school…wont, I’m afraid, get off the couch and demand change, until two things happen.
