Mercury Laden Water and The Border Patrol

more about “Border Patrol Supporters in Sequim, W…“, posted with vodpod

Stan is the man from Aberdeen, Washington. Stan is a Border Patrol groupie and another fantastic example, of why tourists need to avoid Aberdeen.

Stan is confused, not unlike the Border Patrol and the two white power participants from Mossyrock and Onalaska. Aberdeen, Mossyrock and Onalaska, three shining examples of the effects of mercury laden water and the brain damage that it causes.

Wow.

I would like to thank the Sequim Gazette for their brand of video “journalism.” Fucking hilarious. One could not buy better advertising for the Border Patrol and their…”mission.” This video is a wet dream of potential material…a showcase, a case study if you will, on everything that is wrong with America, Aberdeen and the Border Patrol.

Just a quick note to Stan the man from Aberdeen. Evidently Stan thinks the tweakers, meth cookers and the rapists that he is surrounded by in Aberdeen, are all Mexicans without papers. For those of you who know nothing of Aberdeen…well, Stan is delusional. Funny, but still just a delusional fucktard.

I’m pretty sure that Janet Napolitano, the Border Patrol and our glorious Department of Homeland Security, would like to thank the Sequim Gazette, Stan the Man and the dynamic duo of white power from Lewis County. With friends and supporters like you…who needs Mexicans.

It was a big day in Sequim for anyone who has been interested in local Border Patrol operations. A Seattle paper and at least one paper here on the Olympic Peninsula had reported
that members of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps and the group Stop the Checkpoints would hold separate rallies Saturday afternoon.

Internal, suspicionless Border Patrol checkpoints and roadblocks- as much as 100 miles from the border- are new here. Local Border Patrol operations bring questions on immigration, the war on drugs, homeland security, the war on terror and civil liberties- they also bring part of what is best in America- people who gather to speak out on issues they believe in.

I went straight to the The Sequim Gazette web site on Sunday morning to get a report on the Border Patrol rallies. I saw a video and slideshow coverage featuring those who gathered in support of the US Border Patrol. I saw no coverage whatsoever on Stop the Checkpoints- the group that was there to question and challenge Border Patrol checkpoints on the Olympic Peninsula.

What happened? Why was coverage on this event one sided?

What would help to balance this out?

It would be great to see more of a web based, interactive “blog” / reader comments section in our local papers. This type of format is non-existent on the Olympic Peninsula- as if web based software does not work west of Hood Canal. One local paper will allow comments, however “There may be a delay of 24-48 hours for any submission while the web site editor reviews and approves it. ” Sounds like The Pony Express version of the internet.

Thanks for reporting on this Alex. Yes, there should have been discussion on both sides. Yes people can disagree and try to come to a mutual understanding on issues like this. I salute your desire to do so.

As you know, I am less optimistic about our fellow humans who oppose brown people. Hell, I’d settle for semi-coherent.

The Leader is a bit ahead of the other papers with their attempt at a web presence. But, like you said…web based software on this side of the canal? We’re just a rented ferry away from obscurity…
