Clean coal is stupid. Stupid, just like the reason we invaded Iraq. Stupid, like calling the brown folks who feed your mother’s coke habit…illegal. Stupid, like the pretend shock that places like Las Vegas are running out of water. I blame Mr. Las Vegas, Wayne Newton…for all of it.
Blaming Wayne is easy and stupid.
Happy day after hump day. I am off to go buy some shit. Thus ensuring my status as a good, legal American.

They’re laying new pipe, and paying folks to get rid of their lawns, but not one word about the water use on the strip.
God Forbid the Bellagio should be asked to turn the damn fountains off, eh?

Ya, the whole Vegas water issue is a massive environmental mess, and those who might have a chance to turn the situation around are blind to the elephant in the room. A city the size of Vegas in the middle of the desert is simply not sustainable in the long term. Not without some massive water reclamation and conservation changes. I’m thikin’ something closer to what the Fremen in Dune practiced…
But of course… that ain’t gonna happen.
