Huwaida Arraf is her name. She hails from Detroit and is the co-founder of the International Solidarity Movement. Huwaida Arraf is a human rights activist and is currently in Gaza.

Well that is one opinion. I would remind folks that there is fine line between being a hero and being a fool. If that camera had not been there, pretty sure something else would have happened. Funny how we all behave differently with a camera on us.

I’m pretty sure she is a bit different than you or I, or any other soft American. We can only manage to get bent out of shape when our latte’s suck ass.

Cameras are being used very intelligently and strategically to support the peace movement and life, almost like corporate media use them to further the interests of empire and death.
Hawaida Arraf is on the side of peace, and a very brave person.
Which side is JJ MADD on, I wonder.
