Props to the Old Man

November 12, 2008

Watched a crappy stopped action clip of Lebron dunking from inside the free throw line. Watch it here. Nice.

Even nicer? Two words, Clyde Drexler. Or was that four words? Anyway, I give you The Glide. Watch closely at just about one minute in. I wouldn’t call him a hero, as per the music in the clip….but he kept us Blazer fans happy.

I’m rehabbing his image after that Dancing With The Stars appearance.

Lebron James is so overrated, Mr. Lens1! (by the way, I Googled your photography and know your real name)

Clyde Drexler was so amazing. Since the Sonics fucked off, I suppose I’ll have to drive over to Portland if I want to see any pro ball this coming season.

Watched many a game in Portland, “back in the day.” Good times.
Hey, the Zags are pretty damn close to pro level, eh?
Hows that new arena treatin everyone?

I am “out there” with the photo stuff…I knew that vapid thang was no fluke.

I love the McCarthy Athletic Center! I usually manage to go to a couple of home games during the regular season (I know a lot of old, rich Catholic people with season tickets. They have this impression that I’m a nice young lady who deserves such things.) It’s a great place, but while I’m there I’m always reminded of the fact of how I was accepted to Gonzaga but had to settle for EWU because there was no way I could afford the tuition for the entire year, let alone four (or five, as that was how long I was at EWU). *shakes fist at no one in particular*

Oh Jesus! I’d better un-link you then.
I was on an Alexie rant this summer, I think I mentioned
Jesus fries at the McCarthy…angry, angry Catholic email.

I’ve known a few engineer types from GU.
Let’s just say shitty beer at the Bulldog is more fun.

Well, that probably wasn’t an email from any Catholic that I associate with. The Catholics I know sin and blaspheme all over the place.

the glide is good. Very good.

Yes, Spokane is hoops central now that the cougs have joined the zags and Whitties as winners. Should the vandals and eagles join, that might make us the Chapel Hill of the west. I’ll have to rent Dicky V my travel trailer.

Dicky V in a trailer…I laughed out loud at that….

Chapel Hill of the west? I think the Spokane Chamber or tourism people had better talk with you. They could use that. And the Whitties? I had no idea. I’d better check back in to my hoops world.
