Sorry Spokane
The much anticipated appearance by Sherman Alexie at the Lilacs Sonics trial, is over. Percy Allen live blogging! from the actual trial itself, in the actual city of Seattle!, mentioned Sherman was from Eastern Wa. But that appears to be it. No mention of Spokane, Spokaloo, Aunties or even Reardan.
Sherman appeared poised to say Randy Shaw once, but this came from a source at the Stranger. Nuff said. Speaking of the Stranger, can I interest you in some photography help? Sweet fucking BIAW! You need some better pics…
So Spokane, you will have to wait for the next reading at Aunties for your Spokane-Alexie connection fix. Unless, you people start reminding Sherman of Gonzaga. I’m sure Coach Few and the alumni could get Sherman any seat configuration and all the Jesus fries and sodas he could handle. Basketball would be back in Sherman’s life, Gonzaga gets free press, you get more Sherman.
Now get on it Spokane!

Yes, Hoopfest. Certainly has the basketball connection that Sherman will be missing once the Sonics go Okie. Could be some wicked cool t-shirt possibilities there as well! How about a Jordanesque posed Sherman, ball in hand, flying through the air and slamming it home…?
